Hello beautiful humans. I hope you had a lovley America Day. (AKA 4th Of July but I mean...)
Today started out with another three hour road trip. The weird part is that this morning, we were in a different country then we are right now. What. We drove from Seville, Spain, to Lagoa, Portugal. We slept in this morning which was a first for a bit! Yay! We then made our way down to the lobby to enjoy the buffet breakfast. (Double yay because the watermelon fruit salad stuff was glorious) After that, we dragged all of our things into the car park where we then loaded our car and took off for Portugal. We made it there pretty easily but the last part was a bit hard to find. We walked into the lobby and were lucky enough to be able to switch our one room suite to a double room one! (both of which are unexpectedly huge.) After unloading the car, my parents went down to one of the many restaurants on the grounds of the hotel and got a drink while Tony and I relaxed for a bit. When they came back they both slept for a bit and Tony went down and got us all a pizza. Yum. T'was very yum. Afterwards, my parents and I all headed down the seaside trail to the village center, where supposedly there would be a bit going on. It was such a pretty walk and I stopped to have photo-shoots with more than one deteriorated building. (They make for a fantastic backdrop I swear I'm not crazy.) Then, we found ourselves in the hustle and bustle of the upbeat feeling city square. Vendors were set up and music was playing and many other tourist families from all around were there too! It was such a nice place! The sunset just added to the atmosphere too. We looked around in the shops for a bit and got home-made ice cream from a local shop. (IT WAS AMAZING.) After that, we decided to head back to the room at our hotel. It was a very nice evening. :)
Thanks for reading!
-Sophia :)
