Day 21: Father's Day shopping and Argentinian Food

Hello all!  I hope you had a festive, or relaxing day.

Today, being fathers day, we all slept in a bit.  After sleeping in, we all woke up and had a bit of breakfast.  After that, we took a tram to Central Station with the intention of going to a few museums.  Nope.  When we arrived, both my mom and Tony weren't feeling great, so we decided to walk for a bit instead.  We headed over to the same streets with the stores on them to look around a while more.  My mom and I each found a few souvenirs and my dad and Tony just looked.  After that, my dad wanted to take my mom to go have a drink, so Tony and I wandered around a bit more.

After all of the shopping, we ended up walking through the "Red Light District."  This was not a picnic, let me tell you.  The Red Light District is basically a neighborhood where prostitution and strip clubs are the norm.  I may or may not have been ranting about feminism the entire time.  It was basically a party of women's objectification.  Cool.  And people had their small children there too!  GO HOME.  Next, we headed out to a different shopping street and there we just peeked in some stores and enjoyed the rain.  Afterwards, we were all pretty tired from all the walking, so we decided to grab some dinner.  We  walked up and down a street that was filled with restaurants from different cultures, from Japanese to Italian to American.  In front of all of the restaurants was a representative who tried to sell us on the place which was quite entertaining.  We decided an a little spot that had Italian and Argentinian food.  It was great food, and even better company.  We were seated next to an Italian couple who were from Sicily and we had a lovely chat with them with a few communication errors but it was great none the less.  The lady owns an organic citrus farm with her father and the guy is a camera man for the news.  It was very cool.

Hope you enjoyed!
-Sophia :)
