Hi everyone! How are you doing? Good? Good. I'm glad.
(This is actually yesterday's post that I'm uploading today.)

Tony the Cow whisperer |
Today, we decided to go back to the pub that we found in the town of Alrewas yesterday. We have had about enough of the car though, so we decided to take the scenic hour-or-so walk from Wychnor. (I know, every town has an elf-sounding name.) We set off into the fairy-tale-looking forest trail (footpath) which led us through gorgeous, yellow flowered fields. The really awesome type that make you want to frolic through them. It really was picturesque. We strode through the "kissing gates" and strolled over the little bridges until we got to another field, as we were walking through, we see a cow. Cool! I like cows. They're nice and I've always thought they'd be an adequate group of opponents in a game of monopoly. But then, we see another, and another, and pretty soon, we were surrounded. There really could be worse things to be surrounded by, in my opinion, cows are a pretty good deal. We hung out for a while and took some pictures with them. I also learned that Tony and I are cow whisperers.
After a bit of hanging out with our new friends, we went on our way and found ourselves in Alrewas. We followed the directions to our little pub and found the same two local guys having a beer at their table with the dog again, Charlie (this time, Charlie had a friend, Amber.). We sat and made up our minds and after a while of waiting for our orders to be taken, one of the owners came and took our orders with a quick, "Sorry 'bout that! Got a big rush of people all of a sudden there!" Big rush? There were about 8 other people there. (You couldn't handle working at Panera, honey.) Still, the food was lovely and the atmosphere was great. At the end of our meal, we had a nice conversation with the other owner about various British rockstars. We then made our way back home with little trouble and got to see some sheep too! (Or as I personally like to call them, cotton ball dogs.)
For the rest of the day, we all just relaxed and hung out, talking to friends, watching TV, and looking at our photos. (WHICH I PROMISE WILL BE UP SOON. Our internet is the most ridiculous thing and won't behave.) So look for those pictures on the previous posts as soon they should be up.
Thanks for reading!

The walk over was so pretty! |

Not sure about the cows. |

When there are fields of flowers, when do they not go in my hair? |

That's a good look for us I believe. |
